Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Socialtrafic (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you visit https://socialtrafic.in/ or engage our services.
We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act) and apply equivalent principles for visitors from outside India.
1. Data we collect
- Identity & contact: name, email, phone, company, when you fill our forms or message us on WhatsApp.
- Project details: budget, service interest, and anything you share in the message body or uploaded brief files.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, referrer, and pages viewed (only when you grant analytics consent).
- Marketing data: if you accept marketing cookies, we let Meta & Google connect your visit to ad campaigns for attribution.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
- To deliver, support, and improve services you have engaged us for.
- To measure marketing performance and improve the website (only with consent).
- To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations under Indian law.
3. Lawful basis
We process your data based on your consent (forms, cookies), to perform a contract with you, to comply with a legal obligation, or for our legitimate interests in running and securing our business — only where such interests are not overridden by your rights.
4. Sharing
We share data only with vetted processors required to run the site and our services:
- Hosting & performance: Vercel.
- Database: Google Firebase (Firestore + Storage).
- Email: Resend.
- Analytics & advertising (only with your consent): Google (GA4/GTM/Ads), Meta (Pixel + Conversions API), LinkedIn Insight, Microsoft Clarity.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some processors store data outside India (typically the EU or US). We rely on contractual protections required by the DPDP Act and applicable laws.
6. Retention
- Lead enquiries: up to 24 months from your last contact.
- Client records: up to 8 years (statutory tax/audit retention).
- Analytics: 14 months (GA4 default).
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or completion of inaccurate data.
- Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent.
- Request erasure of your personal data, subject to legal retention.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
- Lodge a grievance with our Data Protection contact (below) and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Security
We use TLS in transit, role-based access in our admin tools, and managed infrastructure providers (Vercel, Google Cloud) with their own security certifications.
